I haven’t written a message here in a long while. For those following this ministry, you may be wondering why that is the case. I have had to reprioritize my life’s direction at this time to focus on the needs of my precious wife, Tami. She needed me more than I wanted to carry on this online ministry. She has experienced several TIA’s (mini strokes) that have caused setbacks in her overall health. She had to stop her full time teaching job several years ago. She recovered somewhat and began to teach English online from home. She needed to get up early in the morning to do so and began to need more rest than she was getting as her health has declined. In the course of making decisions on how to care for her, I decided to get another job as a home health care attendant for a special needs student of mine so that she wouldn’t have to work as much.

I realized I needed to lay down my dreams and give up my desires for Tami. JESUS did so for the church and HE is my example to do the same for my wife.

I laid down my dream of being a pastor as I remembered Abraham’s willingness to obey GOD by sacrificing his son Isaac. As Abraham laid down his son, he knew by faith GOD was able to raise him up again. Abraham knew his son was bound up with the promise of GOD to fulfill the dream he had of GOD multiplying his seed as the stars in the heavens and as the sand on the seashore…

Genesis 22:1-19 The Offering of Isaac

I believe GOD has called me to be a pastor. By my willingness to lay down this dream and desire, I am believing GOD to give this back to me at a later time in the future as I take care of my wife’s needs first. JESUS laid down HIS life for the church and then HE was given many blessings for HIS obedience to do the will of HIS FATHER in Heaven. In turn, I’m to lay down my life for my wife. I am praying for and believing GOD to heal her. In HIS timing and way, HE will do so whether here on earth or in Heaven…

In deciding to get a second job, apart from my full time teaching job, I thought of providing for my own immediate family as our K.O.R.E. ministry will continue to provide for orphans in India as well…

⁷ Is it not to share your food with the hungry
    and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe them,
    and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
⁸ Then your light will break forth like the dawn,
    and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness will go before you,
    and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
⁹ Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
    you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.
