Love’s Sacrifice Returned

It’s Time…

GOD has allowed me to start back where I left off from what was written in Love’s 1st Ministry post on 4/4/21 where I give the reason for discontinuing this online ministry. What is interesting to note is that in that post I reference Abraham’s Offering Isaac and my laying down my dream to better help my wife, Tami. Well, in my reading (through the entire Bible for the third consecutive time) yesterday on Friday 2/10/23, I was at my place of reading Genesis 22 once again where Abraham offers Isaac as a sacrifice to GOD. From reading this passage in the Word, we know GOD provides a ram so that Abraham does not have to sacrifice Isaac after all for he proved HE loved and feared GOD more than even the love he had for his son and knew by faith that GOD could raise Isaac back to life if GOD willed it. It is also shared in Love’s 1st Ministry post at the end of it the Isaiah 58 passage that says for me not to turn away from my own flesh and blood and that your healing will quickly appear. I did not turn away from my wife, Tami and HE has done a healing work in her physically as well as in me spiritually. Well, in my reading the Word with the LORD today on Saturday 2/11/23, HE had me read the Isaiah 58 passage. GOD is a GOD of order and timing -so amazing to me!! That brings me to what GOD has now commanded in giving me the “green light” to go ahead and return to doing K.O.R.E. ministry online at this time… GOD has given this ministry back to me for my obedience and willingness after having laid down my dream and laying down my life for Tami.

In the In-between Time

GOD provided more work for me to do that lended itself to earn more income while Tami wasn’t able to work due to her health problems. This school year, many of the after school jobs I had in 2021-2022 were no longer available for me to do. I also did not pick up my job of working as an attendant care provider with one of my students. It prompted my wife, Tami, to step out in faith and become a teacher again starting in October for the 2022-2023 school year. GOD provided her with the ability to do so even though she still has some weakness and tiredness from her illness brought on by the TIA (mini-strokes). GOD also provided a church for me and my family to attend at FBC Earth. Dr. Meeks served as an interim pastor that from him I grew in my knowledge of GOD’s love and care. Then Pastor Jackie came to be the full time pastor. I have been discipled by him in wondrous ways to know GOD’s Word and to rely on GOD’s will, timing, and way of working in our lives continuously. He is the first pastor to show me the love of GOD our FATHER in a church setting. Though I have served with children in church for 18 years, GOD brought about a new opportunity to grow in at FBC Earth. HE gave me the grace to serve from April 2022 through February 5, 2023 to lead/teach as the Adult Sunday School Teacher that allowed me to grow in confidence with presenting messages from HIS Word to them. I found out that I enjoyed teaching not only children, but now adults as well… I told Pastor Jackie that I would no longer serve at FBC Earth so that I may continue this online ministry of K.O.R.E.

With GOD’s instruction as most important for me to do this ministry as well as my wife, Tami, also giving me the “go ahead” to continue this ministry now I look forward to sharing what GOD’s Word says and how HE inspires, instructs, and invigorates me in what to write…

What I’ve Learned From the Time Away

GOD grew my love for HIS people at FBC Earth, expanded my heart’s desire to share GOD’s goodness to those around me, and to now once again be mission minded for those who may need encouragement, mercy, and compassion in the words I write inspired by HIM to make known the Way, the Truth, and the Life found only in JESUS…

While in the wilderness or in serving as a volunteer temporarily, we should continue to seek to know and do GOD’s will for HE is molding and shaping, refining and refinishing, and providing and preparing us spiritually for HIS purposes…

We may give thanks to HIM while being content with what we have until the waiting or temporary serving is brought to a finish, the breakthrough we need happens to give us more freedom and the dream HE has given comes to fruition…

I love you all!!… It is good to be back serving in what GOD has called me to be and to do…

Continue to have faith in Him, hope from Him, and love through Him…
